Data and Systems Management Senior Analyst

In more detail, we are looking for a Data-/Systems Analyst with proven experience in the Asset Management industry to join our in-house DevOps team.

You're not a back-end developer, but rather a domain expert with a flair for coding. You understand the investment lifecycle — from trade execution to settlement — and can translate complex portfolio management requirements into technical solutions.

We probably do not need to tell you why this background is essential but allow us anyway to mention that you will be collaborating directly with Traders, Risk officers and Operations specialists, understand their challenges, fixing bugs and developing systems and processes without needing a translation layer.

Key Task

The job is certainly not a routine job. Yesterday’s plan for what to do tomorrow are guidelines, often overruled by urgent issues. Yet you will be able to work with long term tasks.
Anyway, some of the key operational tasks would be:

Actively participate in the end-to-end implementation of new Enterprise Data Management and Portfolio Management systems
Provide daily support to core business teams, ensuring system stability and rapid bug fixing
Handle system development, configurations, and data integrations
Lead testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing to ensure team resilience.

Having said that, a significant part of your first six months is to be engaged in the upcoming implementation of our new Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Portfolio Management Systems (PMS).

What we are looking for

We are looking for a person with min. three years of experience in asset management working with IT, data, or systems. We expect that you

are proficient in Python, SQL or similar.
have a curious, analytical mindset with a keen eye for details and a willingness to take on responsibility.
have great interpersonal skills as you will be expected to engage directly with colleagues in person and not just through tickets or in writing
are fluent in English (written and spoken).
